![]() Cooperative joistsIn cooperative structures two or more materials are joined to work in combination with each other with a view to deriving the best properties from the materials involved. During casting the profile panel functions as a free-bearing mould. During use the panel works in combination with the concrete. This makes it possible to utilise both the good tensile strength of the panel and the good compression strength of the concrete, this means that in many cases the beams do not need reinforcement along the bottom edge. Cooperative panelsCooperative panels are equipped with punched attachment devices with a seal in the bottom of the profile. This ensures one hundred per cent adhesion of the concrete, making it possible to utilise the entire area of the panel as cooperative reinforcement.

Cooperative panels are produced in the heights 45 and 93 mm. The advantage of the 93 profile is that less concrete is required, and that the distance between beams can be larger. OSP 45

The span of the joists can be up to 8 metres, with an economical span of up to 6 metres. The joists can be laid on steel beams, concrete or wooden walls.
